When Writing Congress Goes Electric

What happens when writing your Congressperson goes electric?

A recent article in the Washington Post reports that now 86 percent of congressional offices “answer all or most of their incoming constituent email with email, compared to only 37 percent in 2005.”

A new report from the Congressional Management Foundation on steep growth in electronic mail sent to congressional offices has implications for congressional archives like the Russell Library that provide access to this type of correspondence. Important food for thought!
